The Yellow Trail is one of the most important of the Aquarium of Cattolica that delight young and old, thanks to two basins with lifelike habitats in freshwater areas. The new pool will contribute to raise awareness and educate the public, to the responsible use of the aquatic environment.
The aquarium is located in a complex of seven units, which resembles a fleet of ships that can sail at any moment. It is a futuristic project from the thirties a”Colonia Marina” or holiday camp. One recognizes a flagship in the middle – the dining room – and two pairs of torpedoes at the sides – the dorms.
The project has all the characteristics of futurism: modernity, speed and progress. This architectural work, renovated in 1999 at the behest of the Municipality of Cattolica and protected by the state conservation area of Ravenna is a unique attraction.
